Gardner Votes To Finish the Job at Aurora VA Hospital
Washington, DC – Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO) released the following statement following his vote in favor of a Continuing Resolution (CR) which includes funding for completing the new VA medical facility in Aurora:
“Completion of the Aurora VA hospital has been one of my top priorities in the Senate. I’m proud to have helped secure the last funding that should be required to finish construction and deliver to veterans the facility they were promised. It’s critical that the House pass this funding as well, and additionally pass the authorization required to spend it.
“Responsible governance means keeping the government running. I will continue to work towards longer-term budget solutions which reduce spending, reduce the debt, and cut back on rampant waste.”
Cory Gardner is a member of the U.S. Senate serving Colorado.
