Washington, D.C. –Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO) released the below statement following the confirmation of Colorado native Allison Eid to serve on the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals:

“Allison Eid will make Colorado proud as she assumes her new position on the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Allison’s experience as Colorado’s Solicitor General, serving on Colorado’s Supreme Court, and teaching at CU Law will all contribute to her success on the Tenth Circuit. Her devotion to the Constitution and the rule of law make her a tremendous choice and I’m looking forward to her service to our country.”

Yesterday, Gardner spoke on the Senate floor about Eid and affirmed his support of her nomination. In September, Gardner (R-CO) introduced Eid to the Judiciary Committee at her confirmation hearing.
