Gardner Votes to Confirm Alexander Acosta as Labor Secretary

Washington, D.C. – Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO) today released the below statement after voting in favor of confirming Alexander Acosta as Secretary of Labor:

“I look forward to working with Alexander Acosta to reduce burdensome regulations that hurt our economy and America’s workers,” said Gardner. “Acosta’s record in public service, his interest in making sure our workers are properly trained, and his time heading the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division make him uniquely qualified to lead the Department of Labor. I’m confident he will work tirelessly to put Coloradans and Americans back to work.”
