Gardner Statement on White House Meeting with Governor Polis and President Trump

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO) released the following statement today regarding his meeting with President Donald Trump and Colorado Governor Jared Polis at the White House this afternoon:

“Today Governor Polis and I had a productive meeting with President Trump regarding Colorado’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Senator Gardner. “Governor Polis and I secured President Trump’s commitment to send an additional 190,000 COVID-19 testing kits to the state and we advocated for additional personal protective equipment and further financial assistance to states without population thresholds. I want to thank President Trump and Governor Polis for today’s meeting and I will continue to fight each and every day to make sure Colorado gets through COVID-19.”
