Gardner Statement on U.S. Abstaining from U.N Vote Condemning Israel

Washington, DC – Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO) today released the below statement following President Obama’s decision to not veto the United Nations (U.N) Security Council resolution condemning Israel:

“One of President Obama's last acts in office was to turn his back on our ally Israel. His days of emboldening our enemies and weakening our friends are thankfully coming to an end. After eight years of waffling on supporting one of our closest allies, President Obama’s decision today marks his final betrayal of Israel.”
