Gardner Statement on Confirmation of Christopher Wray to Lead the FBI

Washington, D.C. – Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO) today released the below statement following the confirmation of Christopher Wray to be the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI):


“Christopher Wray is a strong choice to lead the FBI and I was proud to support his confirmation,” said Gardner. “At a time when we face increased threats at home and abroad, the FBI serves a fundamental role in keeping Americans safe. Wray is an experienced investigator who will set a tremendous example for the thousands of men and women at the FBI who work every day to protect our country.”
