Gardner, Senate Colleagues Honor National School Choice Week
Washington D.C. — Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO), along with 21 of his colleagues, introduced a bipartisan resolution declaring January 21st through January 27, 2018 as “National School Choice Week.”
“National School Choice Week highlights the importance of parents having greater control over their child’s education,” said Gardner. “I have always been a strong supporter of school choice because it not only encourages parents to be more involved, but also improves the quality of their child’s education. Our children should not be forced to attend a specific school just because of their zip code. Parents know what is best for their own children and it is time we start letting families make decisions that best suit their own needs.”
