Gardner Meets with South Korean President Moon Jae-in

Washington, D.C. — Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO), Chairman of the Foreign Relations Subcommittee on East Asia, the Pacific, and International Cybersecurity, today released the below statement following his meeting with Republic of Korea (ROK) President Moon Jae-in:


“It was an honor to meet President Moon Jae-in and welcome him to the Capitol today,” said Gardner. “The U.S.-ROK alliance is forged in blood and our two countries will always stand together to counter all external threats. I reiterated to President Moon my personal commitment to the alliance and look forward to working with the new ROK Administration in the months ahead.”
