Gardner Celebrates Denver Television Coming to Southwest Colorado

In-state programming will be available for free during the COVID-19 pandemic

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO) celebrated the announcement from DISH Network today that Denver ABC and Fox will air in La Plata County during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, finally connecting Colorado satellite viewers in the Four Corners region with Colorado news and emergency information.

“For years I have been working tirelessly with Senator Bennet and Congressman Tipton to bring Denver television to Southwestern Colorado and I join the Coloradans in the Four Corners region who are celebrating this announcement,” said Senator Gardner. “We never know when the next emergency will come, and every Coloradan deserves to have access to the in-state news and emergency information that their lives could depend on.”

Senator Gardner has fought for years to bring Colorado television to Southwest Colorado:
