Gardner Announces $300,000 Economic Development Administration Grant for Southwest Colorado

Washington, D.C. – Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO) today announced Southwest Colorado will receive a $300,000 grant from the Economic Development Administration (EDA). According to the EDA, the funding will be used to “provide resources to capitalize a Revolving Loan Fund that will cover the region of southwest Colorado, which comprises the counties of Archuleta, Dolores, Montezuma, La Plata, and San Juan.

“This Economic Development Administration grant is great news for Southwest Colorado,” said Gardner. “The funds will be used to bolster small businesses in the region and support our rural communities that have trouble accessing capital. I look forward to the growth of small business and better jobs as this money is put to use in our local communities.”
