Gardner Announces $2.2 Million Grant for Grand Junction Regional Airport
Washington, DC – Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO) announced today Grand Junction Regional Airport will receive a $2,216,716 grant from the FAA to construct a new runway.
“I welcome the news that Grand Junction Regional Airport will receive over $2.2 million from the FAA to construct a new runway,” said Gardner. “This airport serves as the gateway to the Western Slope and will benefit countless Coloradans and travelers who utilize this transportation hub. It’s important the FAA is supporting this project and I will continue to be a champion for Colorado at the federal level to ensure our local communities receive the resources they need.”
