Gardner Announces $1.2 Million Grant for Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport

Washington, D.C. – Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO), a member of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, announced today the Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC) will receive a $1.2 million grant from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the design phase of expanding the terminal building.


“I’m excited to announce the Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport is receiving a grant from the FAA to help update the terminal building,” said Senator Gardner. “Going forward, I’ll continue my efforts to advocate for improving Colorado’s infrastructure at the federal level and ensure our airports receive the resources needed to serve the people of Colorado and our visitors.”
