College students and graduates are encouraged to apply to our internship program. Interns in Washington, DC will have the unique opportunity to build a robust understanding of the Senate’s role in government by conducting policy research, attending hearings, writing legislative reports, and responding to constituent inquiries. Interns in Colorado will have the chance to see how the federal government interacts with our local communities, and how the work done in our offices helps real Coloradans with real issues. Additional duties include answering phones, greeting guests, and, in Washington, giving Capitol tours. Only full applications will be considered. Applications for the Washington, DC spring session are now being accepted. The deadline for submission is November 1.
